a comment on the title
The title for my blog comes from the lovely movie Out of Africa with Meryl Streep and Robert Redford. The entire quote says, "If I know a song of Africa... does Africa know a song of me?" I tend to think of it the other way around - that I will be the one learning Africa's song. Perhaps we will both teach each other.

I'm happy that you have a blog. I'm sure you'll find lots to post. The hardest thing is deciding to who(m) you are writing. I find that as my imagined audience shifts so does my writing.
